Modern Religious Experience: Reflection Question #1

Modern Religious Experience: Reflection Question #1: "According to Mircea Eliade religion has 'not vanished without a trace; [it] has contributed toward making us what we are today and so, after..."

My Family has alway been Christian Catholic. Since i have been small, i have been brought up in a way that i was conscious of God and what he represented in my life, and have always been going to church regularly, nearly every sunday.
Personally, i have spent the past 10 years of summer vacations in the same area in France (Dordogne) a place where archaeologists have discovered traces of magic inside caves. It is unknown of cave art what postulate the artists meant to convey but every year, when i visit these caves i connect the intentions to my personal religion and what i believe in. As a child i always wondered whether the whole 'jesus' story was true and i told myself that when the number of people, of mores, is great enough to actually build churches and celebrate every sunday, it ought to be true. Concerning my family, nothing was ever really taboo and i was always able to share my opinions and questions.
When i moved to Korea and my grandpa made sure i would continue to go to church regularly, i became conscious of the the way my entire family had always been rather strict about religion, and i am happy to have grown up in a home where this is fostered.
d i am happy to have grown up in a home where this is fostered.
